I've been quarantined (Literally)

January 12, 2015

For the past five days, I'd lost,
- My appetite
- I puked
- My head felt dizzy
- My body felt like fainting
- I had sore throat

Literally, I thought I was sick on Saturday and oh god I was so frantic because I had to take an exam the next day.

My mom nearly cancelled the scheduled for the exam because I started to vomit but I endured it and I managed to wake up, even thought I felt weak and I look like a dead person.
(Seriously, if you've seen me on Sunday, my eye bags are the size of Gucci and I looked tired and horrifying)

And I had to wait for four hours OUTSIDE the building, waiting for my turn taking the exam.
It was hot, dusty, dirty and crowded.

I pretty proud of myself that I could endure my pain and not puke while waiting.
And then, I had to wait another hour to get home.

By that, I already collapsed in bed.

And then, Monday morning, I couldn't move my feet.
My soles stung, my hands looked swollen.

Every time, I walk, I felt like my feet cramp, but in more painful way.
And then I realised all these red spots (look like rashes but not) came out on my feet and my hand)
At that moment I was like,
"Am I dying?"

So, I went to the doctor last night,

While waiting my mom was like, "I watched a documentary on youtube, I think you have hand foot and mouth disease."

And she was right.
The doctor confirmed it.

Now I really feel like a weak teenager.

You ask,

What's hand foot and mouth disease?

Hand, foot, and mouth disease is a common viral illness that usually affects infants and children younger than 5 years old. However, it can sometimes occur in adults. Symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease include fever, blister-like sores in the mouth (herpangina), and a skin rash.

Signs and symptoms?

Common constitutional signs and symptoms of the HFMD include fever, feeling tired, generalized discomfort, loss of appetite, and irritability in infants and toddlers. Skin lesions frequently develop in the form of a rash of flat discolored spots and bumps followed by vesicular sores with blisters on palms of the hands, soles of the feet, and sometimes on the lips. The rash is rarely itchy for children, but can be extremely itchy for adults. Painful facial ulcers, blisters, or lesions may also develop in or around the nose or mouth.

HFMD usually resolves on its own after 7–10 days.

Haha, I have all the symptoms.

I have virus in me (alert!alert!) I can infect you~~~
The thing is, these disease can cause death too.
And my dumb siblings make fun of me.
Makes me want to infect them...

I'm a freaking teenager and I'm infected.
I swear if I'm in TMR now, I might be the one who's not immune and I will turn into a Crank.

It hurts, seriously hurt. My soles especially. I can't walk without feeling stung. My hands are itchy I WANT TO SCRATCH IT SO BAD

Ways of treating;
- Drink a lot a water
- stay clean, wash your hands regularly

But thank god that only my soles and my hands have the disease's rash. My mouth is still okay. But my throat still sore.

I'm afraid cause my mom said that I will have ulcer and rash will came on my mouth.
Nope nope nope nope.

I HATE ULCER.
AND I BEEN QUARANTINED. IN MY HOUSE.
FOR A WEEK (at least)

If these disease still not gone in a week I'll go to hospital dammit.
It's scary how many viruses live in this earth.
And how water is important for your body.

So, eat you fruit kids.

Stay healthy.
